With now less than a week until Cars 2 makes its debut in theaters, we have two new clips that both take place in Tokyo, Japan. Watch as Mater mistakes wasabi for pistachio ice cream and asks the sushi chef for a a decent scoop of "ice cream". I wonder what will happen when Mater finds out what kind of flavour wasabi actually has. In the other clip, watch part of the first race of the World Grand Prix in Tokyo as the racers take on the dirt track. It's awesome to see Lightning using that same trick Doc taught him in the first film to get ahead of Francesco.
A new Cars 2 clip has debuted, and I must say, it is one of my favorite clips that have been released! It's from the scene where Mater is trying on various disguises for his mission...but then gets a little off task. Good ol' Mater, funny as can be.
Cars 2 will finally hit theaters in just 11 days!!
We recently got to see two clips entitled "Meet Finn" and "British Intelligence". "British Intelligence" was an extended version of "Meet Finn". Now, we have an all new clip, entitled "Carmac", which picks up where we left off at the end of "British Intelligence". This new one is a lot more action-packed than the other two, and features bad guys Grem and Acer chasing down Finn and Mater at the Tokyo International Airport. Watch for yourself:
Cars 2 hits theaters in 12 days!!! The wait is almost over!!!
It's always good to check up on Disney Pixar's YouTube channel once in a while. They have been uploading a lot of new clips from Cars 2 lately! Today, watch as Lighting McQueen and Mater meet Italian racer, Francesco Bernoulli. You start to see the rivalry between Lightning and Francesco unfold here. Also, there is another new clip, which is basically an extended version of last week's "Meet Finn" clip. You get a glimpse at some of Finn McMissile's awesome spy gadgets!
As the streak of new videos from the upcoming spy film Cars 2 continues, we get another peek at one of the scenes that take place in Tokyo, and yet another trailer for the anticipated video game. In the clip, watch as Lightning McQueen greets fellow racers Jeff Gorvette and Lewis Hamilton, and meanwhile, Mater gets distracted by Zen Master. In the background, you can also hear Perfume's song for the Cars 2 soundtrack, "Polyrhythm". The new trailer for Cars 2: The Video Game gives what is probably the best look at the video game yet. Clearly, the video game will be just as action-packed as the movie, and it's great to see that all the new characters are featured as well.
Like I've said before; all these clips are making me even more and more desperate for the movie to come out.
Luckily, the wait to Cars 2 is quickly approaching the finish line, with only 20 days to go until its release in North American theaters, and only 17 days until the video game hits store shelves!
Pixar has been releasing a lot of new Cars 2 videos lately! Today, we get another awesome featurette, and another clip! The featurette focuses on the main spy characters of the film, Finn McMissile and Holley Shiftwell, and also includes some new action-packed footage! The clip features Mater and Finn as they meet at the Tokyo International Airport. Watch them below:
I have officially crossed the point where I am desperate to see every ounce of footage there is of Cars 2, instead of just watching more and more awesome footage that make me even more desperate. Anyway, check out these two great little sneak peeks at Cars 2, one starring Mater as he uses a fancy high-tech Japanese toilet, and the other one featuring mainly Lightning McQueen and Francesco Bernoulli at the Tokyo race.
Cars 2: The Video Game hits store shelves on June 21, and some people are making as big of a fuss for the game as they are for the movie.
Often the video games based on films aren't exactly very good, but last year, Pixar teamed up with Avalanche to try and break that curse. The Toy Story 3 video game was incredible, and is one of the best movie-based video games I've ever known.
Toy Story 3: The Video Game was the first game that Pixar did with Avalanche, and since it was a big success, the two companies have teamed up again for the Cars 2 video game! Starting with Toy Story 3, Pixar was highly involved in the creation of the video games based on their movies, and as a result, the TS3 game was a big improvement over previous Pixar games.
Cars 2: The Video Game is set after the events of Cars 2. Players get the chance to train to become a spy at CHROME, which stands for Command Headquarters for Reconnaisance Operations and Motorized Espionage. This game is the perfect combination of an awesome racing game and a spectacular action-adventure game. Cars 2: The Video Game also features all the great characters from the film.
Watch the two trailers for the video game below:
Be sure to check out the "Developer Diaries":
Get your hands all over Cars 2: The Video Game on June 21, three days before the film comes out!
Along with the domestic Cars 2 trailer that was revealed on last week, we also now have a slightly different international trailer, with footage not seen in the other one. Also, we get a brief look at the end of the trailer at the title card for the upcoming Toy Story Toons as Woody and Buzz pose beside the logo.
Pretty cool, huh? I have absolutely loved all the Cars 2 trailers that have been released. They all tell you what the story is about in their own unique way. In this one, I enjoy the heroic music.
Only 36 days to go until we finally get to see every ounce of footage from Cars 2...only 36 days until we can watch the hilarious, spectacular, and action-packed sequel to Cars...
Two amazing new videos have made their debut on the web; a featurette with John Lasseter, Larry the Cable Guy, and other actors from Cars 2, and a Cars 2 trailer...made of LEGO!!
The featurette talks about the inspiration for Cars 2, and talks a bit about some of the characters and their voice actors. It is also loaded with a bunch of new footage!
Disney/Pixar collaborated with the LEGO company to make a breathtaking recreation of the first Cars 2 trailer. All the sets and characters are made of LEGO pieces, and it actually looks like the original trailer! The Cars 2 LEGO trailer was first uploaded to YouTube by Patrick Boivin, who was one of the most important (if not the most important) people involved in the making of the video.
I just finished watching the all-new Cars 2 trailer, and I must say, it is the BEST trailer I have seen in a long time! If you thought the older Cars 2 trailers were great, just wait until you see the new one!! It will completely blow you away! This trailer really (and I mean REALLY) determines that Pixar's next feature film will also be filled with much humour, action, adventure, and of course, heart.
The awesome new trailer has a bunch of fabulous new footage. This new footage proves that Cars 2 will be Pixar's most visually stunning film to date! Along with the new footage, this trailer features some of the music that will turn up on the soundtrack (available June 14) including "You Might Think", performed by Weezer.
You can watch this astounding new trailer at the Cars 2 page on Apple Trailers.
UPDATE (May 13th, 2011 9:41): The trailer has been uploaded onto YouTube:
I'm going to go nuts if June 24 doesn't come soon...
Another one!? That might have been your reaction to the headline. But this new and most likely final trailer is probably just to keep pumping everyone up for June 24! Tune in on Thursday when I will probably have the newest Cars 2 trailer here.
Speaking of trailers, check out an all-new trailer for the Cars 2 video game here. I wish they didn't make these things so expensive...
Are you excited for the new trailer?? More importantly, how excited are you for June 24???
The Cars 2 website has been updated with two new games and a new video called "Zero to Sixty: New Places" with never-before-seen footage featuring Lightning McQueen and Francesco Bernoulli. It looks like Francesco is going to be a heck of a funny character! View it in the Cars 2 website video section (click on Zero to Sixty: New Places). Also, you can now play "Mater Memory Mission" (which I admit is a bit challenging for me sometimes) and "World Grand Prix Races". Of course, these games are not as fun as the video game that is coming next month, but they are definitely entertaining time-passers!
Cars 2 hits movie theater screens in exactly 51 days!!
Wow! This new TV spot for Cars 2 might be even cooler than the last one! It features a load of new footage, and, as all Pixar trailers, makes you even more excited for the film!
Is it just me, or are Pixar films getting more and more visually stunning each time?
Check out this awesome new TV spot! Wow. TS3 is going to be the best movie ever. Some scenes here are very surprising, and feature a lot of the action that you can see in the movie. June 18 is almost here! Enjoy the video in full screen here.
Well, time flies by very quickly and it's only thirty more days until the theatrical release of Toy Story 3!!!!!! I am super-duper excited for this movie! As I have mentioned before, I've been waiting for this movie to come out for three years! I am sure this will be yet another Pixar classic. To celebrate the approaching arrival of TS3, I've put together an "exclusive" Toy Story 3 post. I hope you enjoy.
Woody and Buzz remind you to return your 3D glasses after the movie.
Look forward to a hilarious reminder to turn off your cell phones at the movie theater starring Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head.
This is going to be one heck of a movie. Action, heart, humor, you name it. Toy Story 3 has it all. TS3 hits theaters June 18 (In 30 days). Can't wait!!
Here I told you about a new "Internet only" TS3 trailer. Now they've released two more. The first one was about Woody and Buzz, the second is about Rex and Hamm, and the third one is about the Potato Heads. Maybe they'll make a fourth, possibly about Jessie and Bullseye. Then maybe a fifth about Slinky and the Green Aliens. I put the first one below along with the others. You can watch them in full screen here.
Another Toy Story 3 trailer has been released exclusively on the Internet. It features some never before seen footage featuring Woody, Buzz, and the rest of the toy gang.
