"Cars 2" Coming Summer 2011

It's June 24, 2010. That means that there is only one year left until the realease of "Cars 2", the sequel to the 2006 hit, "Cars". This new Pixar film will be directed by Brad Lewis, producer of "Ratatouille", and co-directed by none other than the man himself, John Lasseter! John Lasseter has directed "Toy Story", "A Bug's Life", "Toy Story 2", and "Cars". He also executive produced movies like "Up" and "Toy Story 3". He was a big part in creating Pixar, and he's created beloved characters such as Woody, Buzz, Lightning McQueen, and Mater. I am very excited that he will be co-directing the second "Cars". Owen Wilson and Larry the Cable Guy will reprise their roles as Lightning McQueen (Owen Wilson) and Mater (Larry the Cable Guy). The film follows the further adventures of McQueen and Mater as they embark on the Race of Champions, a giant world grand prix where racecars race in Japan, Germany, Italy, France and the UK. Involved in a case of mistaken identity, Mater saves the life of Finn McMissile and enters the world of international espionage. What happens next? Find out June 24, 2011.

Toy Story 3 & Day & Night Finally in Theaters!!!

Two days ago, on June 18th 2010, I had the time of my life at the movie theater watching the highly anticipated movie, Pixar's Toy Story 3, and their new short, Day and Night! They were both AMAZING in 3D! I'll start by talking about Day & Night.

Day & Night was a spectacular 5 minute film, with astonishing 3D effects. At first Day and Night did not get along, but after getting to know each other some more, they became good friends.

Toy Story 3 was INCREDIBLE! It had all the elements of the first two films. Action, heart, humor. It ended off the Toy Story saga quite nicely, in a fun, exciting way. I am very emotional person, so I was crying the last 15 minutes of the film. It was a beautiful movie. I won't give away anything for those who haven't seen TS3, but all I'm going to say is that it's a lot better than Shrek Forever After.

Well, Pixar has done it again. They've created another classic that captures everyone's heart. Day & Night was just as exciting. Toy Story 3 made 41 million dollars on Friday, and so far it has made 109 million on its opening weekend. If you haven't seen TS3 you have got to get yourself over to that theater.

Toy Creator Website

Yesterday I discovered this cool new website called the Toy Story 3 Toy Creator. You are given the opportunity to "make yourself a toy". You create and customize a toy to look like you, or you can just make some weird, random toy. You can also save your toy and everyone who visits the site can see it in the toy gallery. Before you can save your toy, however, you must register. All you need to do is make up an account name, a password, give your e-mail address, and tell what country you live in. That's all. Easy, right? I've already made three toys myself. One of them is called Al Guy. You can search it up on the Toy Searcher.
