Toy Story Collection "Bullseye" Now on Disney Store

Another addition has been made to the 'Toy Story Collection', and this time it's Woody's beloved horse, Bullseye (details here)! Bullseye is one of my favourite characters from the "Toy Story" series, specially because he is so loyal to Woody. This awesome replica is exactly like the one seen in the movies, and like all other toys in the 'Collection', it comes with a "Certificate of Authenticity". I'm looking forward to finding him at 'Toys R Us' soon and bringing him home.

What Surprises Could 'Monsters Inc. 2' Bring?

I've been wondering lately, in the upcoming sequel to the 2001 hit 'Monsters Inc.', what could our favorite monsters of all time, Mike and Sulley, be up to? Will the evil Randall return for his revenge? Has Boo grown out of calling his big furry friend "Kitty"? Will Mike and Sulley enter the human world for the first time? Anything could happen in the next chapter of the story of these beloved monsters. Please share what you think will happen in the comments section when our monstrous pals return to the big screen in 2012.

Pixar's #1 in North America is...'Toy Story 3'!

A few days ago, 'Toy Story 3' broke the record 'Finding Nemo' held for highest grossing Pixar film ever in North America! 'TS3' has been super popular in theatres lately, so it's no surprise that it broke this record! Now I'm just waiting for it to be the highest grossing Pixar film of all time worldwide, which I think is achievable. Right now the film has made $342 million domestically ('Nemo' made $339.7 million) and $867,893,978 worldwide. Could it reach 1 billion? Let's wait and see. 'TS3' is getting more and more popular by the minute.

'Ratatouille' Coming to 3D!

Another Pixar 3D re-release is coming to theaters (although it hasn't been announced when), and this time, instead of Toy Story and Toy Story 2, it's Ratatouille, Pixar's hit from 2007.

Could this be a sign that maybe, just maybe, there is a 'Ratatouille 2' in production? I'm not quite sure. I'm only guessing because the TS1 and TS2 re-release was only a few months away from the release of TS3. But I honestly doubt there is a Ratatouille 2 in the works (the film is perfect as a stand-alone film), although it is pretty exciting to get to watch Ratatouille in 3D. Expect to see a release date soon on the blog!

Toy Story 3 Soundtrack: You've got a Friend in Me (Para el Buzz Español)

If you've watched 'Toy Story 3', you might remember a catchy tune that is played at the end. Well, that is the same tune I've posted below for all the readers of my blog to enjoy. If you haven't noticed, it is a Spanish version of the 'Toy Story' saga theme song,'You've got a Friend in Me', recorded by the Gypsy Kings. As I mentioned before, it is played at the end (CAUTION: SPOILER ALERT!!!) when all the toys are now enjoying their new life at Bonnie's house and Jessie and Buzz do a pasodoble dance (SPOILER OVER). I really enjoy listening to this song in both English and Spanish. I hope you do too! UPDATE:Here are the lyrics (Yes, they are written in Spanish so you might not be able to understand them):

Hay un amigo en mi
Hay un amigo en mi
Cuando salgan a volar
Hay un amigo en mi
Si, un amigo en mi
Hay un amigo en mi

Hay un amigo en mi
Hay un amigo en mi
Cuando salgan a volar
Hay un amigo en mi
Si, un amigo en mi
Hay un amigo en mi

Hay muchos que pueden ser
Un poco más listos
Mas nunca habrá quien pueda ser
Un amigo fiel
Que tú lo sabes

Los años pasarán
Lo nuestro no morirá
Lo vas a ver, mejor tener
Un buen amigo en mí
Hay un amigo en mí
Un buen amigo en mí
Hay un amigo en mí

'TS3' got a shot at Best Picture?

Well, it's been fifteen days since Toy Story 3 came out, and it's done really good at the box office (it's earned millions of dollars on its first two weeks), and it has gotten 99% on Rotten Tomatoes. What people are wondering now: can it be nominated for the Best Picture Academy Award? I think it can. There hasn't been a lot of good movies this year, so I think it might have a slight shot at actually winning. What I do think it's going to win for sure is Best Animated Feature. The only real competition is Dreamwork's "How To Train Your Dragon" but I honestly think TS3 was far beyond better than "Dragon" (not to mention "Shrek Forever After", which was not not bad, it was pretty good, but it was nothing compared to TS3). Read this interesting article talking about movies that might have a chance at being nominated for the Best Picture award at the Oscars early next year. We'll have to wait and see what awards Toy Story 3 wins at the Academy Awards.

Rex & Trixie's Internet Safety Tips

Rex and Trixie love computer games and surfing the web, but they always keep these tips in mind when using the Internet.

-Never give any personal information, because this can give sneaky people the info they're looking for to locate you.
-Never arrange to meet with an Internet friend, because not everyone is as "friendly" as they claim to be.
-Careful with what you post on the Internet. It never goes away. Never.
-Don't say stuff that will hurt people's feelings or make them feel bad. Once it's on the Internet, anyone can see it. Later on, you could get in trouble for what you did.
-Careful with the websites you visit. Some can contain scary things you never wanted to see. Others can cause computer viruses.

Remember these tips from Rex and Trixie when surfing the web. Don't do things on the Internet that you wouldn't do in real life.
Also visit these fun, safe sites that Rex and Trixie love to play games on, or do some research.

"World of Cars Online" Now Officially Open!

After a long wait, the "World of Cars Online" is finally open! You can create your own car, enter Radiator Springs and compete in sorts of events such as races, tractor tipping, and more! Join Lightning McQueen, Mater and the rest of the car gang on an online game like none other! You can also apply for sponsorship (which is like membership) which will give you access to what cars without sponsorship can't have, but the game is really fun to play even without sponsorship. You can also do missions for the characters from the "Cars" films. This is a really fun game to play and I suggest you do play it, but always remember your Internet safety.
